Due to some kids down the street messing with their new dirt bike, I got motivated to get mine running again. Sure enough, she started without a hitch this year. This new battery I got at the start of the riding season last year is much better than the original one I had. There was never a point where it sounded like it was going to die when cranking. Lots of fun. I think the riding season has started for me!

For the photographers of the group: Advice for those considering entry into the Hey Hot Shot competition at the Jen Bekman Gallery, which also seems like helpful advice in general. Not that it necessarily applies to me, who only picks up the camera about eight days outta the year!

A quadraped robot or a "pack mule" as the group calls it. Saw this on TechTV last night (aka G4). Wow, everytime I watch this movie it just freaks me out. The thing moves so real and handles being kicked.
