well, in recent years, i got married, bought a house (after looking for quite a while), bought the most ridiculous car (an 84 stick-shift chevette that has more problems than I have ribs), joined a new band and played some great shows in some cool towns, finally got a cat again, worked a bunch on our family property in WVA and will again, wrote a lot more in 2005 than i did in the five years preceding it, drove a jeep across the country for my sister, added a lot of files to filenet, dropped out of the duckpin league (hopefully for just this year), effectively dropped out of frisbee (but hope to practice this year), became more content with my role at work (not saying i love Microsoft Word, but I'm managing better now), started attending and hope to join a new church (following move to afore-mentioned new house), developed quite a taste for beer (and while it does maintain sobriety better than hard liquor, i'm quickly finding that its none too easy on the waistline), learned a lot of refinishing hardwood floors, and of course, put a lot of miles on my van.
