indie rock is the vehicle gabe! or photography! or being a full-time roadie, coming off a tour with one band and heading out the next week with another (jerry busher did that for fugazi and other DC bands for like fifteen years, now he's in a band and playing second percussion for fugazi). there's gotta be a vehicle for change!
